EnvIM 10th anniversary

July 1st to 3rd 2017, in Paris, was celebrated the 10-year success of EnvIM international program, and the signing of a new 3-year agreement by MINES ParisTech, University of Tsinghua and INSA Lyon.

On July 3rd, Vincent Laflèche (Director of MINES ParisTech), YANG Bin (Vice President of Education of Tsinghua University) and Christian Olagnon (Director of Education of INSA Lyon) met at MINES ParisTech to sign a new 3-year agreement and confirm their common wish to continue working together. Created in 2007, the EnvIM program is based on this major academic partnership and on common values. The signature of the 5th agreement, the testimonies from academics, alumnis and partners demonstrate the success of this double degree program and the need to develop such initiatives internationally.

To mark the occasion, last July 1st, a boat cruise was organized for both EnvIM and ALEF programs, in order to celebrate the 10 years of those 2 post masters. This event was an opportunity for the alumnis, partners and teams to meet around a cocktail in an exceptional setting. A hundred participants and many wonderful memories were shared this day.

Since 2007 EnvIM program in China and France has been hosted 10 promotions, and graduated 151 students from 18 different countries, now working in the environment sector all over the world. The Ebook "EnvIM Scapes" has been created as a souvenir of these 10 years of exchanges, successes, and adventures, a travelling diary gathering pictures and testimonies, a pathway for future EnvIM years.
